Not prosper FROM coaching.
Prosper IN coaching, as in being a coach, particularly at the college level.

He’s not Batman. Philly needs at least Superman.

What has he done since then? He’s sucked.

He'd be better off facing the fact that his football life is over and move on to the next phase. There's a lot he can do.

And those guys at the college level are making a living wage these days. #50 on the salary list is still > $2m.

Followed by a big playoff loss.

Not like we haven’t heard that before.

Anti-christian Tebow-haters...Tebow won the Heisman and was the MVP of the National Championship game...which they won. The dude can play football.
The NFL is not capable of exploiting his talents because it has become as formulaic as a rerun of Wife Swap. You must be 6’5” 250 with a cannon arm, perfect vision and lightning fast decision making skills. Tell that to Fran Tarkenton.
I was very disappointed my Jets never gave him a shot by adapting Ground and Pound to his skill set. In hindsight. Rex probably lost his job over his quarterback decisions.

I’m no football guru, but the NFL has configured the rules to make it a passing game. Those who execute (and defend against) this mode are getting the big rewards.

Philadelphia could use a new citizen with decent personal values.

I’d settle for a decent football player which Tebow is not. He really needs to either keep doing what he is doing in entertainment or become a preacher. Quarterback is not in his DNA......I think God has been trying to tell him that but he is not listening.

Thanks for the response. Just wanted to post back that I should have mentioned my post was not directed at you but those who hate on Tebow because of his faith.
Your answer makes good sense and may be why he will not play in the NFL again. As for me, I am rooting for him to succeed big and prove the haters and John Elway wrong.
Something like my tagline. The good guys are supposed to win at the end.

Well Peyton Manning is nearing SocSec age, so maybe the Broncos will have Tim back for a look in the future. Tim is only 27.

If I owned a team, he’d be on the roster, even if he had to cover kicks.

“But neither one will get you a spot on the roster if you lack the ability to play the position at the pro level”

Exactly. And the flip side of that is that if you have the ability to play the QB position at the NFL level, you will find a spot on a roster.

Imagine if Tebow lined up as an end, and then declared himself either eligible, or ineligible... I’m confused thinking about it ...

His last play was a game winning TD for the Patriots in preseason.

Peyton Manning’s had a few of those for Denver, too.

I’m glad the Eagles gave him a chance but, I think they said thanks will call you later!

Yup. He did a terrible job of taking a 1 and 6 team to the second round of the playoffs. Which I might add was better than the vaunted Manning was able to do this year....
