He’s got to toughen Judith up. I like that she’s not slung in front of him with a sling or some metro-sexual thing like that.
What makes me uneasy about the last episode is that this is a communistic society. Tovah Feldshuh’s character is the benevolent dictator or their commune. She assigns jobs and she made the rules. They eat out of a co-op. What happens when Darrell brings in game? Does he have to share it with everyone? Are their skills more valuable or less valuable that they warrant a bigger house or more houses? If they find weapons, can they keep them with them, instead of turning them into the armory?
And I think what is happening to Darrel is a typical liberal trick. May the gays nice and wholesome and caring, but butch, and buddy them up with our favorite anti-hero, Darrell, and then its a slippery slope to giving Judith to the gay couple, if Rick dies, because they are a stable couple.
This is the first set of episodes that is not just a wild ride for me.
Deanna is a typical Progressive/liberal—a nasty totalitarian trying to preserve her little Utopia.
You need to relax on the homo worries. If it follows the comic books at all...it’s not going to be an issue. They have much bigger things to worry about.
