What exactly was Rick doing in the last scene? Was he missing the sound of walkers?

It could be. Maybe he prefers Walkers to the weird people in Deanna’s utopia.

The plot has so many twists and turns. Love it!

Maybe he liked hearing the sound of a walker, but knowing that he was safe behind the wall? I don’t know what that scene was supposed to mean.

You saw the scene where Rick and Carl had a little Father/son bonding killing the Walkers? I think they are all addicted to the adrenalin rush of living “outside”. And the mundane, boring, monotonous, “stepford wife” kinda people in the town are driving them nuts.

Like people who retire from football, car racing anything dangerous they miss the rush. After awhile you adjust. Or “get weak” as several have noted.

BTW. Sasha seems to have changed her scope. In one of the earlier episodes she used Night Force. New one is a Nikon, I believe. Darryl’s knife is a Busse. “Team Gemini”. Dang show has turned into one long commercial aimed at the gear heads.
