There is one personality aspect that Spock had in abundance, and Obama has none of: humility. Spock was stubborn when he knew he was right, but he first made sure he was right, and even then he was willing to sacrifice himself. Obama is stubborn, is always sure he is right and everyone else is wrong, and is never willing to sacrifice himself. That is why those who want to live in the truth and are willing to subordinate themselves to the truth whatever it is, loved Spock, and despise Obama.
