This is one of the few venues where capitalism fought back.

But long before the giant breweries, there used to be a lot more local beer—way more brands and names than perhaps even during the microbrew revolution. Below is just one victim, which went out of business in the 1950s.

Very like what happened when Bill and Hillary unleashed the insurance companies to wade into medical practice and buy out all the independent clinics, reducing choice, ostensibly so the insurers could get leverage on their costs.

It was a disaster for consumers, and Slick and Beast inflicted it out of malice, a) because the public had rejected Hillarycare and b) to screw up fee-for-service medical care in order to drive the People toward Single Payer.
