A domed stadium stadium in sunny LA? There is a race between the Rams, Chargers, and Raiders to get to LA is they can't extort tax money from their current host cities. I doubt there will be 3 teams in LA. Perhaps the Raiders or Chargers will move into the Inglewood stadium. That would make more sense as there would be a AFC and NFC team in LA.

The NFL will allow the relocation. Now you know why the Ram’s drafted Michael Sam.

Inglewood, right? That’s one of the most F’d up hoods’ you don’t want to go to at night. No matter how many times they “improved” the Forum. Heck, I thought they were offering Industry which is a better city than that rathole.

What do they have to level to build that monster?

They should put a horse race track on the roof and an airstrip in the middle of it.

Wait a minute!

They can build a stadium, with a capacity of 80,000 in just under three years but, it took 11+ years to design and build the Freedom Tower?

What in the Wide World of Sports?

Oh, and what’s up with it being a closed roof system?

The weather in L.A. is pretty dang’d fair year round.

Maybe they designed it to capture bratwurst and beer farts and convert the gas into renewable energy to protect the environment?

Just guessing....

I was just looking at the Wikipedia list of professional sports teams in Los Angeles, I guess they will add a footbal team now, but what is sad is two of the teams listed are the Angels and the Ducks, I guess Los Angeles now extends all the way to San Diego County.

Here’s why a covered roof stadium makes sense: it would allow major events that need large indoor spaces. Imagine being able to hold the NCAA Men’s Final Four for college basketball at such a stadium—it would bring in nearly US$100 million to the local economy.

Isn’t Inglewood like, the ‘hood?

Didn’t the Lakers and Kings move out because it had gotten too rough?

The multi-billion dollar complex of Gillete Stadium and Patriot Place was built with private money. There’s no need for the taxpayers to get raped by these billionaires who employ swarms of millionaires.

Start checking the bank accounts of the Inglewood city council. Let’s just say it is a very diverse group of folks who aspire to be the next Coleman young.
