I grew up in a town near Dylan's. I went to the same college, a couple of years after he did. I even lived just off fourth street, made famous by his song.
I never liked him in the least. He couldn't sing, and his politics were indefensible, making his lyrics as bad as his singing. He still can't sing. Why anyone would want to listen to him singing someone else's songs is beyond me.

Can't disagree with you there; he is more known for the poetry of his lyrics, however; in many cases they are sublime!

He’s more of a conservative than liberal in many ways, if you listen to his interviews.
