I think both fighters are susceptible to big wins and brutal defeats. I know Mir has been talking about the changes in training, mindset, not killing himself training 110% everyday, several times a day and how this has affected his performances in the past. I know he believes this is his time, that he’s fixed things and he’ll show us the best Mir ever.
I think it’ll boil down to whether Mir is really over the hill or not regardless on his training, etc.
If Frank does decide to call it quits if he loses he would be a nice addition as a fight commentator. I enjoyed his time as a WEC fight commentator.
