Wrap dental flows from the tip to the ring. With each unwrapping back to the tip, move the ring at the same time.
Dremel motor tool works wonders.
Then their is the soapy finger, then the thread wrapped around the knuckle to shrink it.
A three corner or teardrop jeweler’s file will work.
