Turns out I have brain cancer that moved there from my lungs. Prognosis is poor. I had brain surgery a couple of weeks ago.
Of course, being me, I intend to fight hard to the very end, and beat the odds. I may well be around for harvest season this year. That is my intent. Normal prognosis is in weeks.
I've held off on bringing this up on FR for several reasons. But the time to bring it up is now.
Consider this my opus. It's as close as I'm going to get to giving one.

Heavenly Father, We all come before you with a solemn heart and in need of Your intercession. We pray that the cancer that has come into this dear man's life soon fades into a quick remission.
Comfort him upon his sickbed, and ease his suffering. We beg for deliverance, and submit that no healing is too hard for the Lord. We therefore pray that You bless his family with Your loving care, renew his strength, and bless him with peace, comfort and understanding in Your loving name.We believe in Your loving capacity for miracles, and ask for this on this man's behalf. As we grow older, I know we become closer to the day you accept us back into your kingdom. We ask that you delay that holy union if it be your will. In your name we pray,
Lord, Your scripture set forth that You heal all diseases and whoever believes in You will not perish but have an everlasting life. Strengthen this man, Lord, in this time of his illness. Sustain him as he lays sick in his bed. When You were on Earth, you did all things good and healed all kinds of sickness.Lord of all…this man is suffering, we all ask to do what is right, good and best for him. As it fits your plan, heal him and mend his body and lovingly grant him days of better health and strength. We ask Holy Spirit to flow through every cell in JRandomFreeper’s body and expel all cancer. Cancer has a name and it must bow to the name of Jesus.
Give JRandomFreeper and his family peace that passes understanding as they look to You for their strength. You do not extinguish hope.
Because Jesus won the victory, we are able to believe in miracles. Every Promise in the Bible is ours. To God be the glory.
