Someday I’m going to do a YouTube video on how it’s done. I can do mine in seconds blindfolded. I’ll also show how the magazine catch makes a great bottle opener!

I was gonna say, there’s nothing to it. You have to learn how to get the hammer strut positioned before seating the takedown latch, but other than making sure the firing pin stop stays in the bolt, it’s quickly mastered. Someone called it a Chinese puzzle, but a real one of those is a C96 Broomhandle Mauser, an amazing design to break down, how it all fits together so intricately.
