“Dogs are just fascinating,” Santos said. “We love them, they live in our homes. Anyone who hangs out with a dog is kind of wondering, ‘what are they thinking, do they love me’."

No,not the entire aircraft...but I designed the little cup holder that drops down from the seat in front of you.Took me three years to get it in under budget.

Were we on the same team? I came up with the design of those litle air blowers that you can rotate, open and close. We never did come up with a special name for them...

In my life I have met far more people who seemed souless than I have met dogs that did seem to have a divine spark in them.

Maybe dogs are just more greatful for even the small gifts that God gives them compared to people to whom he has given great gifts.

After all we were all created by him.

Dogs are simple, hence their beauty. "Far more complex than blah blah blah" is overkill in my book. Smarter-than-thous projecting their labyrinthine psyches onto innocent animals.

Hence my comm

Meet Dagny, our pure Pembroke w/ a fluffy coat. She's our third Corgi. We obviously love the breed.

I prefer dogs to most people I meet...Here's Rex, he came with a house we bought years ago...what a guy he was!

Daschunds can be quite fierce though. Attitude goes a long way in the animal kingdom. Even in man’s kingdom too really.

Reminds me of this picture I saw of a house cat that chased a bear up a tree. If you believe you can, then you can!

I had a similar experience about a year ago. My dogs are an 85 lb. Pitador and a 110 lb. Great Dane. The Pitador always rides shotgun and the Dane rides in the back seat. I was going to the local Petsmart at about 7:00 p.m. in the early evening. I pulled up and noticed the car next to me was really grubby and looked like somebody had been living in it. Then I looked to my right and saw a vehicle, almost as grubby, occupied by three sleazy white or Latino males who looked like they had just gotten out of jail or were trying to figure a way to get into jail. Instead of displaying a revolver, I just rolled the front passenger side’s window down to let them see the Pitador and then rolled the back window on the right side down to let them see the DAne. Although neither dog showew any real interest, the driver, on seeing the DAne, decided prudence was the better part of valor and immediately left.

“My dog is so smart my husband and I catch ourselves spelling in front of him.”

That trick lasts only so long - my Aussies have learned to spell words such as leash or walk or bath. Our language becomes increasingly oblique to conceal our intent. I’ll say to the wife, “Fetch the long things and we’ll perambulate the fur kids around the block”. As we speak such jargon, the dogs’ ears are twitching as they try to decipher what we are saying.

Quite often we speak Pig Latin if our cats are around; they’re tuned in to many words.

Good thing you don’t have a pet pig, he might translate for them.
