That is awfully early for brakes on any car.

Second, traction control is not a bad thing.

Third, OEM rotors can be turned. That is not necessarily true.

I think you have a valid complaint with the dealership.

Either someone drove the car very, very hard on the brakes, or your wife rides the brakes all the time.

If the brakes are smooth, the disks do not need to be turned or replaced.

The minor wear on the pads is insignificant.

Just replace the pads if they are worn down.

Don't use the cheapest pads, use pads that last longer.

Of all the cars I’ve owned, I never encountered brake issues like I did on a 97 Cutlass. I was doing brake jobs every 20 - 25k on that thing. Didn’t drive it any differently that other cars ... it just was hard on brakes.

+1 and go with OEM. The stuff made in China or Mexico won’t have the same tolerances or last as long.
