First, the libs have wanted to get Cosby ever since the Pound of Cake speech. Second, the MSM can deal with Cosby the same way it dealt with Cain, drip-drip-drip, with new allegations coming in a stream, while there is only one new allegation for Clinton.

Nonsense, if they wanted to get him for that minor mention in that speech in 2004, then they would have.

Cosby could have been attacked at almost anytime in the last 40 years, but especially in 2005 when 14 of these women came forward, after a police report was filed on his 2004 drugging and rape, and they could have destroyed him over his 2006 out of court settlement for that rape.

True, so why didn't the MSM go after Cosby then? My guess is that they were too busy tearing down GWB as a prelude to making sure the GOP lost the House in '06.

Now if I were a conspiracy theorist I would take it a step further and say the jig was up in '06 that Obama was going to be the nominee in '08, and so the MSM didn't want to bring up any black-male issues that might rub off on Obama. But I don't think that is necessary; it could just as well be that attacking Cosby in '06 would have reminded people of Bill Clinton's antics and rubbed off on Hillary. The simplest theory is that the MSM was too busy tearing down Bush to worry about much else.
