Does the front office of the New England Patriots prefer to have white players on its roster? There is circumstantial evidence that may be the case.
While the racial makeup of an NFL team in any given year has its share of random fluctuations, the New England Patriots have seemingly had a suspiciously large amount of white players on its teams during the Robert Kraft-Bill Belichick era.
Wes Welker, Danny Amendola, Danny Woodhead, Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, and Tom Brady all have been some of the more prominent faces of the franchise in recent years, and they all happen to be white.

I think an entire college course for 3 units could be taught on the implications on this one article. Liberalism is infantile, jealous, racist, arrogant, and constantly wrongly accusatory to name just some of its pathological characteristics.
After the game I posted - Which is it - Wilson lost because he wasn't black enough, or Brady won because of white privilege?
The article we are discussing was published in November 2014, and I had not read it. But based on the writer's view point, I will make a guess about how the writer thinks of the New England victory.
New England had a white coach, a white quarterback and a mostly white team. That's why they won.
Seattle had a white coach, a black quarterback and a mostly black team. That's why they lost.
Summation - New England won because of whiteness, Seattle lost because of blackness.

Perhaps the Boston teams provide a home for white players which get rejected from other teams because of anti-white sentiment?
If they were passing up more-qualified blacks, you would expect their win/loss stats to suffer.
Massachusetts is only 8% black.
With 90% of the NFL black it’s nice to see a team that will actually sign white players. Congrats to the world champion New England Patriots.
Don’t forget Bailey Howell and Hondo Havicheck, and Don Nelson? All great white Celtics from the 60s and 70s.
