I didn’t read any of the book, because several of my friends did, and told me plenty about it. It sounded like porn, as it seemed to glamorize what might be called rape, or at least sexual abuse. I have no need to read filth.

The only thing you missed is a really aggressive and open marketing of a book that's pretty much your standard erotica, that's been around forever. Yet some people seem to think it's all "completely different." Last weekend we went to see American Sniper and they played a preview trailer for this flick. The guy looked like a metrosexual, the girl almost too wide-eyed to be believed in this day and age. But hey... who am I to judge?
