The problem with a hereditary monarchy is that you have to put up with bad kings for life. but when you have a good king, he views his subjects as his family, hence the rage of King Abdullah II.

I’ll still take a constitutional republic, given the choice, but I fully understand the King’s anger.

That’s why it is always said that the best form of government is the “benevolent dictator”

Because he acts like a loving father would to his children.

Not like a greedy government bureaucrat

Of course this is so rare, like a magical unicorn. So the next best thing is a constitutional republic, where everyone gets to act like a parent to their own family with their own money

Our King. The Good King Putt (the Foreth), is more concerned with his handicap than protecting the citizenry.
