Actually, sodomy was illegal in many States up until only recently. We need to go back to that.
It was illegal (and thus could not be promoted in our schools or imposed on our businesses) but it was not criminally prosecuted (gay bars were not raided, gay supremacists were granted parade permits and road closures for YEARS while ‘the act’ was illegal in Texas).
The Lawrence v. Texas thing was a setup. The jealous (and physically abused) boyfriend of one of the men called the cops to allege a complaint. The door was unlocked. The police observed the two men engaged in a sex act (and drugs were present). The men refused to quit the act and answer questions, thus they were hauled downtown. Mere sex was not an offense that brought jail time. FROM DAY ONE their lawyer said they would challenge this through the courts to toss out the laws altogether. Even the RINO DA said that he didn’t agree with the law but ‘had to enforce it’ and gave weak hearted defense of it in court. He certainly picked and selected his way around other laws (like gun rights of citizens).
