I like the new tagline.
I had some Cub Scout leader training this morning. In a few minutes, I’ll be taking Sally, Pat, and James - and an additional boy we’ll pick up on the way - to “Junior Staff Interviews” for day camp. Pat and James are too young to be real Junior Staff, but the director said that extraneous young persons can be assistant bathroom cleaners and errand-runners if their parents are working at the camp.
The tagline is old enough for me to be bored with it, so I will probably change it by the end of today, or perhaps tomorrow.
It’s 68, and trying to be sunny, but it will be in the mid 50’s tonight. It will be a little warmer tomorrow, though.
Busdaddy is working overtime this weekend to help pay for the truck. He figured he needed three days of OT a month to make up the payment and a little extra. I used to love OT, but then I got CFIDS, and that took care of work altogether.
He doesn’t NEED to work it, but it will ease his mind to do it. No racing for him this summer...
Ungh...
I went to Walmart after I filled the tank, and was originally going to find a new “backpack/purse” as I am really tired of the denim one I have. I got out of the truck, shut the door and immediately realized the keys were not only in the ignition but the BB SUV was still running.
*sigh*
From the initial call to the time AAA had the passenger door open was 15 minutes. YAY, AAA!!!
This year, I think I need to go up one tier when it comes time to renew AAA. That one covers lock-outs to the house, as well. I’m getting a little strange in my old age...
Anyway, I got a pretty feminine backpack (if there is such a thing) with lace trim, a top in the same colors and a new hat. I’ve quit using visors, now that my hair is so thin; I need something to cover the top of my head.
(I still can’t believe I locked myself out of a running vehicle!)
