The thing I noted was that when Moses tried doing stuff on his own, it didn’t quite work out.
When he left the matter in other hands than his, he got better results.
This was probably something Hollywood didn’t really want to say, but had little choice in it, if the story was to be told at all.
It was undoubtedly a better rendition of it than I could have arranged.
