Unfortunately, I missed the BBC Radio production that aired on New Year's.
I’ve only seen the movie. Last winter I listen to “Anna Karenina,” so I decided I was up to another Russian classic. “War and Peace” is much longer! AK was 32 CDs, and W&P is 25 in Part I, and it’s due back at the library tomorrow.
I have 1-1/2 disc to go.
Pierre is pretty likable, since he’s not Henry Fonda.
