Plenty of people in my meeting are in the same boat. You’ve had a lot of things happen in your life in those three months.
One element in all the meetings is that they ask us to think of one small change we can make this week to promote weight loss. If you look at your plan materials, maybe you could find something simple you can do to help with your sense of control. Are you measuring food? If not, that might help. Do you get enough water? What about getting one (or two) more fruit and vegetable servings than you currently are?
I’ve always drunk a lot of water, usually 3-4 qts a day, as my throat is always sore, due to CFIDS.
I eat a lot of fruit, but I have to eat a protein with it because of the hypoglycemia.
I try to limit the amount of carbs (as I always have) but when I get depressed, I want to eat something sweet. Lately, I’ve learned that just a bite of the sweet will satisfy the craving, so I end up taking whatever I’ve made to the community room to share.
A tip.
It’s nearly impossibile to staple your lips together.
I ain’t saying how I know.
