Does “Mench” mean “idiot for spending so much time out in the cold?”
The woman who had to get the socks was from Nigeria, although she’d been in the U.S. for most of her life. Two weeks earlier there was another woman from Nigeria on my team who also had to get socks.
So now I have to wonder what it is about Nigerians and not wearing enough socks.
I don’t know about the socks theory.
Maybe the sock monster in the dryer keeps stealing them.
