I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

Maybe they were looking for employment?

Awwww....
Sparkle’s appetite has really picked up, but I’m not going to increase her food just yet. I want to find out if it’s like the last time...

I substituted “bones” for something else a little less polite.

Will have to ponder that concept, BBL.

You don’t want Sparkle to get fat, like Shannon.
I probably won’t go to church today, unless I feel much better by 4:00. (We have a service at 4:30.) First time I’ve missed since the day after Kathleen was born!

I could work up a sermon for you.
What part of your life do you want turned around and upside-down?

No, I don’t want Sparkle fat. I had an obese cat once. It wasn’t pretty. But he thought we were starving him.
I’m going to go have another breathing treatment in a minute...Sparkle still doesn’t like it when I do it. I can’t decide if it’s the sound of the compressor or the hissing of the nebulizer that upsets her.
Since I just set out her food, I decided to let her eat it in peace.

I want to run the Offspring instead of having them run me.
Everyone’s looking at me as if I’ve offended them because I’m not talking. I feel fine except for the sore throat and sinus pain, so I’m getting all my work done and communicating with gestures.

And what’s really funny is that, being unable to speak, I also find it difficult to type more than a sentence at a time.

"And whats really funny is that, being unable to speak, I also find it difficult to type more than a sentence at a time." Good thing that hasn't happened to me.
I'd start sounding like SJB.

Child One: What does the note say?
Child Two: I don’t know. It looks like hieroglyphics.

I just finished watching “Downton Abbey, Season 2, Disc 2” with four episodes. Now I'll be waiting for the third disc. So far, I see no “Season 3” and that's disconcerting...I love Dame Maggie Smith in this series! She is SUCH a Dowager manipulator! And so snobbish! OOOOOooohhh she is GOOD!

On a previous occasion when I had this gripa, I dosed myself with hot broth and brandy and sang a Christmas Eve service. I blew out my voice and couldn't talk for four days. I had a sign that said, "Stop talking to me. I'm not going to respond!" It didn't work very well. Tom is translating my gestures for the others. "She wants you to brush your teeth." "Get out of her seat." "Take Kathleen upstairs and change her diaper."

YAY, Tom!
You could probably use a Hot Toddy, right about now, with the emphasis on “Toddy.” The only time I wish I drank whiskey is when I come down with a really ugly chest cold.
Now, of course, with pulmonary fibrosis, I’ll be praying that no colds of any kind come my way, because even a head cold will migrate on me, and I don’t want my lungs abused.

We’ve had a thing going through the family - runny nose, cough, fever for a day or two. Kathleen had it, then Frank, then Bill (and it was awful when Bill had it. Nobody’s ever been as sick as Bill with a cold, except his grandfather!). I don’t know if this is the same one, or if I caught it from Jamie on Friday.
Jamie was so sick she had to go to the hospital the week before last, but I’m in a lot better health than she is to start with.
