I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

Very Very Very short story
I quickly connect the heart to the device. Ba-dump, ba-dump, it is still beating. Good. The electrical stimuli will keep it pumping the same blood over and over until it reaches the destination. I can't believe they used to put the organ on ice for the trip.
The Prime will be pleased with his new lease on life. Can't say the same for the poor stiff we left in the alley- Organ Mandate Team Leader Charlie.

You’re crowding in on Larry Niven territory there. I’ve met some of his acquaintances; you should be very careful!

Fermi not fermez!" I think our star drives will depend on fusion rather than fission, so instead of Enrico Fermi, I would suggest the names of Philo T. Farnsworth and Robert Bussard.
Bussard, we should note, already tried designing a fusion star drive, but was flummoxed by the engineering of it, as we all have been about fusion anyway.
Farnsworth and Bussard also ran out of time with their investigations and experiments, but at least some tinkerers are still quietly puttering away on the matter. Aneutronic fusion has the potential to be the ultimate cool technology!
I've projected that about a hundred and fifty years from now we'll get it sorted out. "It does not pay a prophet to be too specific." (L. Sprague de Camp)

I got a text from Gefn earlier today. She was groggy but hanging in there. I gave her our collective love.

"Myrtle Beach has the largest and weirdest Walmartians!" I hear you. I was in a store recently and I thought I had come upon the passengers of the cruise ship in the movie "Wall-E".

Y’all haven’t lived until you’ve seen the Las Vegas Walmartians. It’s fun to just sit and watch but popcorn and Pink Drink would help.

It’s kinda like watching cats. You have to wonder where the bones go.

I have been stuck at home ALL DAY. I wanted to get Yahoo Messenger, but it had so many UGLY websites that I had to do a Restore System today, and it really stinks. I wanted to go to the thrift store for some picture frames, and thought “This will not take long.” And come to find out, I couldn’t even go for a beer run! DANG!
I ended up depleting my Pink Drink supply, so I will have to go in the AM to get more, before the Walmartians wake up.
DMV sent me a demand letter, which I was waiting for, saying my check bounced and I need to pay up or nasty things will happen to me and my vehicle. So I grabbed the paperwork and the money order and mailed it off to DMV. There is no way I want to cross them.

For a moment, I was thinking about printing pictures
on one's birthday suit.
It was rather a distracting thought.
