I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

Speaking of crying, I nearly took that pane of glass with us
when we moved. If it hadn’t been a rental, I would have.

No, instead I had to cry my heart out and clean the dang
glass, but at least I took the pictures first.

Yep, I know how that works. It’s so hard to let them go. And even to see their favorite toy after they are gone.

Oh, my friend! He died in 1997, on a warm, sunny, breezy day
in June, and he was ready to leave, very ill and suffering. He
had been “talking” to me for days, and all I could do was cry.

But I’m sure that he is waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.
All animals go to Heaven. It’s Biblical. Creatures do not
have souls, but they do have Spirits, and they go to Heaven.

I wish we had known about alkalized water back then. We could
have had a bit longer with him if we had known that we could
have alkalized his kidneys.

I suspect that these are Wisconsin cats, the cheesehead breed.

All his toys are arranged around his cedar box of ashes.
Inside the box are swatches of his fur and long, pretty
whiskers that he lost over the years.

We have eight such arrangements for our beloved kitties
who beat us to the Rainbow Bridge, so far. Our homes have
not been without at least two cats since 1982, all indoor
cats who do not go outside unsupervised, and mostly not at
all, ever, actually, anyway.

We went to the library. Now I’m going to put Kathleen to bed and then go to the Stewardship Commitment Form Redesign Subcommittee meeting. I expect it to be as boring as it sounds, but somebody has to take notes.

It’s OK, ‘Lady. It’s just so touching to know you love your kitties even though they are on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

The last few days have been a little rough and depressing for me, and I have been on the edge of tears since Friday. I just needed a little push to tip me over it.
