Good morning peeps. Thank you for the chuckles

LOL!

Jake and the late Ash used to work together to shred anything left on the floor.

Out of touch in 1970's, out of touch today...

The Dem governor - not Styx.

Apparently there were some arrests in NYC last night but the only commute disruptions happened up on the street.

There were a few protesters who lamented that the looting diminished the message in Baltimore - a fact I’d agree with. The news from Baltimore should be the investigation into how Freddie Gray’s spine became injured, not the thugs finding an excuse for Christmas in April.

Anyhoo - NYC still has the vestiges of Republican leadership so there was no damage from last night and only minor inconvenience as traffic was blocked at a few key points.

Rough night last night. I was awakened at 2140 by a niece (I have so darn many of them!) who wanted me to help her find her biological dad. She then divulged some info about her mother that I hadn’t known, but it explained a lot that I had wondered about over the years.

In exchange, I told her about the drama with Busdaddy and my own truck, which, with luck, will be legal this time tomorrow morning, it being payday and all.

We commiserated for nearly an hour before I finally hung up, but it was very difficult for me to get back to sleep. I just kept thinking about my truck and wishing I could go to Walmart to get a prescription for my neck. After Monday’s close call with Henderson’s Finest, I’m not eager to leave the property until I’ve paid for the registration.

And then Sparkle decided that since I was awake and restless in the dark, it was time for her to play for a bit, using the bed (and me) for a springboard. *sigh*

I try to celebrate every day.

But tomorrow is Friday.

I’m grateful for every day I wake up and find that I’m still in my own bed!

I’m glad you are ok.

I’m off to see the doctor regarding the surgery in June. I have to see four doctors for it, I had no idea it would be this complex.

Meow to all the kitties

I’m grateful for any day I wake up.

But I like the ones I’m not scheduled to go to the gym better than others.

would it be too much to ask for the shredding of the last seven years?

Tomorrow can’t get here soon enough. I went to fix a baked potato and a chicken breast for lunch and both of them taste a little “off.” I’m out of yogurt and milk so I have to scrounge for something to eat with my pills.

*moan*

Groceries will be the last of my things to do tomorrow. I’m even out of coffee...

*whine*

It’s been a month of bad days. The doc at the pain management clinic seems to think a cane will solve my vertigo, of all things.

Being told my truck will probably not pass another smog test is making me clench my jaws...I finally eased up on that after Busdaddy got the new truck, but I find my jaws hurting again.

All of a sudden, the albuterol is giving me the shakes. And I ran out of pills for the vertigo that I take at night. My niece forgets that I go to bed early, so when I found her biological dad this morning on familysearch.org, I forgot she slept in.

*sigh*

It’s 80 degrees out, so I’m not walking anywhere. And Busdaddy wants me to come over tomorrow which isn’t going to happen. It’s payday, and I will be busy.

Hang in there, Face, the month is almost over!!!

And we all know that the bad days of April get refunded with good days in May, right?

Speaking of emissions issues, I wonder how difficult it would have been to get one of theese to pass today's smog test.

I robbed my frog shaped change bank and walked to 7-11 in the heat and got two bananas for $1. Walmart has them for .27 a pound, but I’m not walking that far!

It would seem the emissions from horses would be a little eco-friendlier and all that...

Good news first: Chik-fil-A is coming to the Las Vegas Valley, and with luck, it will be within three miles of me!

Bad news second: My low-income energy assistance allowance came in today’s mail...over $150 less than it was last year. WTH???
