I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?
It is Tuesday.
It is not raining in the upper part of Manhattan where I live but it is drizzling in the lower part where I work.
Tomorrow it’s supposed to be sunny and 70.
So, I guess spring has sprung.
Bring on the migraines (which is what I get instead of sinus headaches).
Sometimes, if the allergens are really beastly, I will get a combination sinus/migraine (sigrain?) headache.
Both are terribly disabling by themselves, but together, they bring a whole new level of pain. I empathize with you.
I dub your headaches Migrus Magnus.
Mine almost never lead to headaches any more. I get visual symptoms and sometimes I can’t come up with words I’m trying to say. If I do get a headache it’s not disabling.
Those visual symptoms drive me nutso. When I can get to a 20oz Mountain Dew I drink one as a beta blocker. Dew is not the most healthy drink but it’s the cheapest beta blocker I’ve found.
Who was is Vargina Woof? A person or creepy movie. I have a picture in my head of an older woman with bad makeup in my head now. A writer comes to mind too.
I wrote this last and never posted, till now.
My forecast looks like the same thing for the next several days. Unnngh. Children stuck inside, and the Dog.
I think it was a dog.
LOL!
Great picture.
” The dog days of Spring? “
Or in my case, spring days with dog.
I took Dog out during a break in the rain. She was disappointed when I refused to run, but at least she got to smell.
Dogs are usually grateful whatever they get.
I went through a period of about 20 years where the migraines changed in nature from pain, nausea and light and sound sensitivity to flashing lights, blurred vision, nausea and massive confusion, including stuttering.
Now I have all the symptoms that a migraine can cause, and the headaches can still vary in length from one to ten days, and vary in severity from mildly excruciating to flat out deadly.
And thanks for the Headache moniker!
I didn’t go to DMV, as I have made myself sick over this truck thing, and I felt the need to be close to a WC, which the DMV only has indoors.
I will go tomorrow, which is my normal day to go as they are less busy, for some reason. I had to go to the pain clinic today and drop off the offending Extended Release tabs for the Immediate Relief tabs, and now I’m at Busdaddy’s taking a break from reality. I will get the prescription filled when I get back to Hooterville.
He has finally come to terms with the situation with his truck, as he has the Harley to ride until he can afford to get the truck fixed. Not good in the rain or wind, but still, when that’s all you have, you have to depend on it.
The wind is blowing again, and I need a breathing treatment before I do anything else.
My frame of mind is better, but not great. I’m sure a shower will help that, but that’s down the road a bit..
It sounds like you should rest!
I need to take Bill’s NC tax return over to the post office in a few minutes. He couldn’t mail it because he couldn’t find the stapler, which was on the counter. How has he lived this long?
I gained weight this week - must have been the wine and pretzels :-).
Lol
I’ve been called a headache for so long I really know them.
:-D
I lost another two pounds as of Sunday, and will check again on the coming Sunday.
I’ve been doing things here, then resting in between by watching some stuff on Sci-Fi Channel, since I only have 5 channels at home. I miss the documentaries, which I OD on when I’m here.
The wind is still blowing, but Henderson has it the worst, for some reason. Maybe because it sorta blows uphill from the valley and seems to be more concentrated. Needless to say, I have the mask thing going again.
Bill has survived because he is a blond at the roots, and knows how to act blond when the occasion calls for it.
I probably have been too, more times than I realize!
What does a dyslexic, agnostic, insomniac do at night?
He lieees awake wondering if there really is a dog.
” What does a dyslexic, agnostic, insomniac do at night?”
Do you have a young grandson?
Teach him to sing..
” Old McDonald was dys-lex-ic
IE,IE,O “
How do you do the cow?
With an Oom Oom here and and Oom Oom there
Here and Oom, there an Oom, everywhere an Oom Oom.
