Either that or they will end up in a small town in Livingston County, MI about 15 miles northwest of Ann Arbor. To get to Paradise instead, he would need to cross the Straights of Mac bridge. ;-)

Two Ducks have just landed on the Pond.
The Pond is surrounded in razor wire and Palisade fencing , so the landing procedure is more of a controlled crash than a graceful decent.

Thanks for the assist, NB. Anyone can tell I am too overwhelmed by life’s little (and not so little) bumps in the road to have time to post the way I did before.

I am struggling to keep my head above water... still believing, but sinking anyway.

With this landing site you can actually see them struggle with the approach.
They regularly abort and go around again.
Those that live here all year come in fast at a 45 deg glide slope until below fence height ,the full left rudder (120deg) to touch down without piling into the willow trees.
