I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

I like Dilbert. Yet it was Doonesbury that changed my life.

Hear me out. Back in High School, I had a teacher who read Doonesbury and knew every strip ever made. If you wanted extra credit, you had to read the strip.

So I did. And the class had to really take note of Lacy Davenport who was based on our Congressman.

During my Senior year, the class went to the county capital to register to vote. It was to be my first presidential election. Mrs. Fenwick was there, gave a little speech why voting is so important, and said she needed students to help her and it would look great on out college applications.,

I registered, and learned everything I knew from this wonderful lady. But I have to think. She was so cool because she was a cartoon, or so we all thought at the beginning.,

Now I know she was just plain cool. And I wish she was still alive because I think she would have been a great candidate for the first woman president.

Coffee is taking forever to brew today.

I’m debating what to eat for breakfast. I have four eggs left so I think I’m going with oatmeal.

Choosing oatmeal will give you a good opportunity to add coconut oil to your meal, which is said to be good for you.

Good morning Bob!

I don’t have coconut oil. I’ll look into buying some.

I have peaches in a can, and I have a banana. I’m probably going to put the banana in. I don’t want it to spoil.

"I have peaches in a can, and I have a banana. I’m probably going to put the banana in."

If you consider just these words separately, you can begin to appreciate the fractured way that Darksheare and I view the world.

I had yogurt, banana, shredded wheat squares ... and some crunchy raisin bran that Kathleen left.

DP has gotten into coconut oil recently. It’s quite expensive, especially if you have to get super-pure-organic-virgin.

Hah! Like I'd fall for that marketing nonsense. That's like saying "super-pure organic coffee dregs".

It's also available in large "softgels". I have to wonder though, who gives this stuff to a horse?

A horse is an athlete, too.

Here’s my two cents worth.

Coconut oil is wonderful to cook with, and easily digestible; Doonesbury was OK, before I understood politics; Dilbert and Catbert rock; Beaverton OR was named because of the large beaver population, and they were in the area first; I have old fashioned oatmeal, preferring it to the instant variety, but you can’t get it in single serving sizes; with a Keurig, you don’t have to wait long for your coffee; if I had to choose between peaches and a banana, I would choose peaches.

And I’m waiting for the bathroom to warm up so I can take a shower.

Horses are artists; Kinetic art, specifically.

In our house, you don’t need single servings of anything. We had the competing brand of one-cup coffee maker, and you can’t get the refills for it any more. I like bananas better than peaches. People who name their city “Beaverton” deserve what they get.

And with that, I need to get the little boys over to church.

You realize that you have summarily completed all necessary posts for the day, all in one massive missive, Missy?

Not like that’s going to stop you from continuing to regale us with your experience and wisdom. It wouldn’t stop me, for instance.

I’ve been in your house, remember? Everyone had a single serving of something at least once, and usually several times at one meal. :o]

The bathroom is mostly warm, so I can go in and shower and wash my head out.

The summary may have satisfied some people, Bob, but I, for one, feel I’ve just started. Besides, all y’all had a three-day hiatus from me, recently so I’m trying to catch up. ;o]

Off to the shower show...
