Um, doesn't it depend whether or not you've been convicted of a felony that means you can't vote? I don't think jail has anything to do with it, does it? I could be wrong. All 50 states have a process whereby convicted felons can vote, some easier than others. Most only require that the felon has served his/her time. Maine and Vermont allow felons to vote while incarcerated.
