That opening paragraph blew my eyebrows off!
Yeah, this is a heavy piece. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how one cares to look at it), it will force some serious introspection. I know it did when I read it.
I am seriously considering forwarding this on to the pastor of the church I attend to see what his take on it is. I’ve been wanting to understand his thinking on the subject for a while and haven’t had the opportunity to really have the discussion with him. I think this would be as good of an ice breaker on the topic as any.
