New York is not Boston or Buffalo: a major weather system usually brings in warmer air from the ocean, meaning the same storm that brings major snowfall in Boston usually brings a lot of rain in New York. On average, NYC gets 2 feet of snow over an entire year, much closer to Washington (15 inches) than Boston (46 inches).
It’s certainly “no snow” compared to the hysterical forecasts—or what it should take to shut down the city.
