“We were discussing Keystone XL.”
Actually the article is about ANWR.
“And if you do not believe it can be done, then there is no remedy to the status quo, thus you are completely wasting your time on this website.”
That’s what you call a “straw man argument” - totally fallacious.
As for why I’m in this website... one reason is to occasionally bring a dose of reality to the discussion.
And if you think for a micro minute that people are going to get so enraged at Dumb’O’s executive order on ANWR that they’ll scare the democrats to vote with the republicans to override his veto, you don’t live in the real world.
See post 42. I was discussing Keystone XL.
The article is about ANWR.
Your version of “reality” is just that—your version.
My view is not a straw man argument, nor is it fallacious.
A very healthy majority of Americans have consistently supported Keystone XL, even Democrat supporting unions.
If there ever was a battle that we could and should win, it is this one.
You are defeated before you start.
If so, why bother being on a website that values freedom?
If the truth is nothing can be changed, and nothing will ever change, hang it up now.
