Beethoven wrote a fair amount of [bad music].

I always enjoy your insight. What other pieces besides the Choral Fantasy do you consider to be "bad" Beethoven? (for instance, I've read some negative things about the Triple Concerto and Wellington's Victory)

Personally I prefer Elmer Bernstein to Leonard.

He wrote a bunch of grandiose choral works to celebrate the defeat of Napoleon. They are completely forgotten.
