I don't understand it either, except in that folks who you and I and many others understand are pushing for liberalism, have themselves convinced that because it's Republican, it's less liberal and voting for it is voting against the liberal, so it's the same as a push for conservatism. They are that fatalistic. "Lesser evil."
I used to be one! Didn't you?
And because it is, quite simply, Jim Robinson's football. And a fine, blessed football it is; I'm glad that it's here. I count my blessings.
I know many good people sincerely, mulishly, well-meaningly, cling to voting "against." I want them to wake up, so I speak out. They don't like it, but every once in awhile, the light bulb goes off ...
I have reason to believe most people here read, and comment rarely. You and I, bigmouth blowhards that we are, are always weighing in! I don't care about Sasparillas. I care about readers.
Whoever they are!
It still doesn’t change the truth of my post. Because what I said is EXACTLY what you say every time you post, correctly so, about taking ownership of action.
As I said before. We are long past the time where we can sit here and hope that change comes to the minds of the idiots still in rabid support of the GOP/RINO left. If people have not figured it out by now, then those people are simply, the enemy of everything we believe in and if we keep blowing smoke up our own arses about fixing them, then thats time not spent forwarding conservatism/fighting liberalism. Most kids stick the fork in the power socket once. We did that . Time to learn that lesson. Or time to go home. One or the other.
I’m tired of making excuses for, listening to excuses for, and justifying the actions of people openly fighting everything I believe in in some Obama-like ‘hope’ they achieve enlightenment.
