I was looking for more than that, why so much interest that he creates Joan of Arc to lead the French, why this big one time deal? What was so special this time?

I suggest you read a book on Joan. God moves in mysterious ways as we all know. But he certainly moved through Joan - really, Jehanne, as she was called. She is the one saint that keeps me from doubting the existence of God. I also believe she was pivotal in ending that long, horrible war which destroyed the countryside of France. So many male historians always deny that for some reason.

To those you discussing why God aided the French with St. Joan the folowing is from a paper I wrote several years ago you can finda at http://www.maidofheaven.com/joanofarc_birth_epiphany.asp

“Joan herself answered the question that many ask today: “Why would God take sides and aid the French?” Joan’s answer to her captors at her trial was: “God took pity upon the French people [because He heard them as they cried out to Him in prayer].”
