Freaky...were they trying to buy 60” Plasmas or something? You’d think people would at least have a LITTLE BIT OF CASH on them...but maybe even that is too much to ask these days.
...but it does give us preppers a HUGE ADVANTAGE, as you showed there (as long as cash is still allowable).
This was a corner Walgreens, most people trying to buy milk, bread, beer and other food via plastic.
I had baby cold medicine and a pack of diapers, plus cash. As I was the only person out of half a dozen with cash and the cashier had a register but not way to verify plastic cards, I paid and walked out with change.
