The whole point was to storm the convention and overthrow that ludicrous bought-and-paid-for Establishment Socialist farce Willard, delegates or no. The base had no reason to abide by a choice taken out of their hands, delegates or no. Willard should’ve been run out of that convention with pitchforks.

“candidate A didn’t accomplish this impossible to accomplish thing, therefore I’m supporting candidate B”. it’s just nonsensical.

Temperamentally, Walker is not the man for that particular job. A Cruz or Palin, yes. As of June, 2012, too many were still willing to put up with one more RINO because of what Obama was doing to the country. Others hoped against hope that he was a closet conservative who just played RINO as Mass. gov. I think things would play out differently now, and we have a MUCH better roster of primary candidates. Much as I like Palin, she did not do us any favors by sucking all the oxygen out of the conservative side until September '11 before not pulling the trigger.
