Anyone with one of this class of ailments needs to try two things before they wander off into gene research:
1. Move to a low carb grain-free diet. In particular, dial intake of gluten-bearing grains to zero (and not just because of gluten, which is not necessarily the biggest problem with these grass seeds).
2. Correct your gut biome, which means adding at least 20 grams of prebiotic fiber (aka resistant starch) to your diet, and typically doing a 60 day course of quality probiotics (actual gut bugs). What’s on room temperature store shelves is highly unlikely to be quality PB.
