No they didn't. They ran it on FD for five yds...a Herron run ... NOT a first...the FD they got was on a pass...then went 3 & out on 3 passes...

But I recounted the 2nd qtr and somehow missed the 1 yd TD run and another run...so they only ran it 4 more times the first half (not including Luck's intentional kneel to end the first half) vs. 13 more passes...
So after they were down...23 passes vs. only five runs from late lst qtr to end of 3rd qtr...about 83 percent pass game...
You dont abandon your game plan when it is 14-7.

NE took it down near end of first half to make it 17 to 7.
The colts only had 1 kneeldown to end lst half...and then the Pats rec'd kickoff to open the 2nd half...Except for that kneeldown, the Colts didn't have the ball from 4:five four left in first half to about 10 minutes left in 3rd qtr...
Given that the Colts started the game run-pass-pass not much changed.
