No, he’s not cute. But he oozes kevorka. He and his wife, who was his HS sweetheart, had a baby boy this past year.

It is 40 and still raining, so I’ve been finding the stuff on my compadre’s product list for a small job he bid-it is supposed to clear up later this afternoon...

Obama pretends to be emperor,
And believes he knows it all-
Reality shows he’s an amateur
Holding us against the wall

Meanwhile, there is no humor
In some who are getting paid-
The GOPe digs their heels in
Remaining clueless and staid

Let’s not have Romney or Jeb-
That message does not appeal
Those like Paul, Cruz and Jindal
May be loud, but they are real...

Dogs will do it every time!
DaVinci finishes training today. Trainer agrees he’s a tough nut and very strong willed. It will still be an effort and require lots of work and consistency for us to finish the job. We will have two follow ups with the trainer in the following weeks.

The doggie looks like the brindle Mastiff that lives up the road-a sheep in wolf’s fur, if he knows you...

I’m glad DaVinci is done with school-Husky girl has always been stubborn, too-I think stubborn dogs are smarter.

He's got 2 of them now. That big guy is named Dug. I was looking for the pic of Roman Josi(his defensive partner) and his brother, out walking them. Ooh, here it is!

That’s much better. The barking is what I’m trying to work on now. It’s a demand bark not anxiety or reacting to noise, so it’s impulse control. He’s not yet 7 mo so he will mature some hopefully. The Dogwalker and I have talked and she will continue to work with him on walks. The millington (think that’s what it’s called) collar is not really working. I’m having to correct too hard and too often, trainer said he used a pinch collar yesterday. Will see what he has to say today when I pick him up.

I always prefer hearing that kind of news. If something was hard for me to do, I hate when someone else makes it look easy. Works for opening jars, playing music, math problems, etc.

I think you’re right about stubborn and strong willed going hand in hand with smart!

Those are Danes? Except for not being as stocky as a Mastiff, they look like them. I do like to see Danes and other breeds without their ears clipped. The vet out here will not crop ears or declaw cats-she has a sign in the window that says so, and calls it cruelty.

I know! I keep reminding myself this is my fifth dog i am not a noob! The others responded and he’s been much harder. It’s not my imagination he’s a little tough nut. I told the trainer Id used the submission hold on DaVinci and he looked horrified. I think he’s got a bit of the dog whisperer going on talking about energy etc. He said no wonder he doesn’t let me cuddle with him! DaVinch doesn’t always want to cuddle, it’s his personality. Sometimes he wants to lay on my lap, sometimes he wants to be on the other end of the couch, sometimes he wants to be on the floor playing with stuff and will evade my grasp. It has nothing to do with the submission hold which I’ve done précisely twice when he’s strggked against me.

I’ve always thought that-I’ve never known a dumb dog to be stubborn-I’ve only owned big dogs, none were dumb-my Chow was the most stubborn dog ever-and he could open sliding were left unlocked.

Have you heard of a barking collar? It gives them a warning, then releases citronella, a scent they do not like. Not sure if inside is good for it, but I want it for the neighbor’s dogs who bark incessantly.

My keyboard coughed-that should be-sliding glass doors if they were left unlocked.

Thank you!

Hopefully, someone will reveal some real skills soon-that is what has been lacking for too long. And Jeb just makes me want to yawn, he is boring and really doesn’t seem to listen to anyone-he was apparently good at his job in Florida, but the rest of the US isn’t Florida...
