Remember America’s “Lonely People”? (’This is for all the lonely people, thinking that life etc.”)
Near the end of the song can be found what must be most lackluster, anemic “Hit it!” ever uttered in easy listening, southern Californian rock ‘n roll.
It isn’t an utterance so much as a breathy, barely audible “OK, we’re almost done, we can do this ...”.
It made me proud to be a white guy.

I remember lonely people. I also remember the tropic of Sir Galahad. I know, we are telling people how old we are, but that is ok.
