Every one of those books were best sellers and well sold on Ebay and Amazon used after that. If someone really thinks they are going to influence the popularity of the movies they are sadly mistaken.

I still do not do people telling me what I can or can not watch, or even what I should or should not watch. I am a free person with all of my rights. I give none of them up for someone else's religious or political beliefs.

And yes I'm oldenough to make my own damn decisions.

If you are talking about Waldenbooks, no. he books that got them in trouble were not best sellers.
The books they refused to take off of the shelves were “Photography Books” focusing on preteens in erotica poses.
People didn’t buy the notion that that was art, and not pedophelia.

Why are you defending Waldenbooks? You like that crap?

Fortunately enough people were disgusted by it that Waldenbooks trundle off of the Comercial stage even before big box book stores rendered their business model obsolete.
