I watched it. Excellent, except for the herky-jerky play from most online movies.

And that kind of thing is what Obama science Czar John Holdren wants to bring here.
[He wrote a eugenics paper about how to save the environment we need to murder several million people.]

Scary stuff.

There was an excellent movie from the 1960s about a fictional Nazi occupation of Britain called, “It Happened Here.”

Watched it. Very good. Hope the actors improve a bit, though. Great attention to detail. Seems to be shaping up more as sci fi than alt history.

See “An Englishman’s Castle,” BBC min-series about Nazi-controlled Britain.

I watched it and thought it was pretty good. A little too unrealistic in my opinion but still pretty good.

Thanks ... I’ve been searching for more dystopian themed shows and Philip K. Dick was a schizophrenic and paranoid so his stories are pretty good.

Back in the 60’s I remember an edition of Life or Look (my parents took both) had an article about a half-baked plan to divide America in the case of a German and Japanese victory. Basically, the Rockies and points west went to Japan and everything east to Germany. I’m not sure it was based on anything more than a fantasy map someone found, but I’ve never been able as an adult to find a copy of the article.

...adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s best novel...

I like Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep better than The Man in the High Castle, but to each his own.

In this version of history, Giuseppe Zangara—who in reality killed Chicago mayor Anton Cermak in 1933—assassinated Pres. Franklin Roosevelt instead. Without FDR’s leadership, America delayed entering World War II....

Hmm I had not read this book... but sounds to be the inspiration jump off point for the famous Star Trek “The City on the Edge of Forever” episode

Anyone remember this one?

SHADOW ON THE LAND (1968)

From the book by Sinclair Lewis (novel “It Can’t Happen Here”)
