I liked “Webster”, although it was clearly a bit of a rip-off of “Diff’rent Strokes”, albeit with a 2-parent household. At least I liked it at the time, whether I would now is another story (I haven’t seen an episode since the ‘80s). We got cable about the time it was in production, and I had a weird time reconciling Susan Clark as “Mom” having played “Cherry Forever” in “Porky’s” right alongside Alex Karras as the bumbling sheriff and close relative of Porky.
