It was not wise of the officer to tell the suspect that he was going to kill him if he reached for something. Secondly, exciting the vehicle was not enough of a threat increase to shoot the suspect.

Christie might get to work on his riot control.

They do that all the time. It's to get the attention of the lumberheads, dings and parole types. I would do the same thing in a situation like that.

Secondly, exciting the vehicle was not enough of a threat increase to shoot the suspect.

That's the big question here.

It appears the passenger side officer had already removed the weapon from the suspect vehicle. When the suspect exited the vehicle he appears to have his hands empty and partially raised.

Christie might get to work on his riot control.

Put him right up front, give him a stick.
