I agree completely. Walt Anderson is also responsible for this lack of attention to the rules. Refs can tell immediately if the game balls are under-inflated, and Anderson either was negligent or purposefully skipped the inspection.
I think Anderson was in on the gig. Belichick probably had some dirt on him, or slipped him some money!
Both teams played with the same ball, so what is the big deal?
and if done, believe me, the league wanted it that way....they have already decided who has won the superbowl anyway....don’t trust professional sports....they can do whatever they want because its their league.
