OK. I'm doing my public duty and starting the thread. Cuz I'm sure not going to tune in!
If there is some brave and hardy soul who can tolerate listening, please give us the play by play. Otherwise we can all make stuff up and it'll probably be more truthful than anything said tonite.
Usual State of the ShamWow drinking game rules apply: every time dear leader says "I" or "me" or "my", take a drink. Any survivors will be recognized for their feat. Then sent to detox. Go ahead and drink a 12 pack now to get warmed up.
The rebuttal will be by Sen. Joni Ernst.

I can't watch this guy. I simply can't. I don't have the stomach to see what this once great Republic has degenerated into. I feel like I am present at Stalin's annual rant to the Politburo where he talks about the Five Year Plan.
My wife insists she is going to watch it but I know how it is going to end in our house - just like last year. A mere few minutes in she will be screaming at the TV and then we will both be screaming back and forth and the cats will run for the basement. The night will be ruined. It always is on SOTU night - at least since 2009.
