I think you can marry your first cousin in 11 states. GA and Fl and can’t remember the others. I also think in some states you have to be 55 or older to marry your first cousin so as not to reproduce. :-)

California allowed marriege between 1st cousins in the 1980s. I don’t know whether the law has changed.
